CBS Answer:
Staff in the Admissions Office will give a first review of the applications. For borderline candidates, there will be additional review by the Admissions Committee.

How would you describe the decision making process?


CBS Answer:
Admissions interviews will be conducted with candidates before the Admissions Committee makes the final decision.

What criteria are used to evaluate good prospective candidates?


CBS Answer:
We assess candidates on different aspects: educational background, professional achievements, leadership potential, maturity, international outlook and motivation for the study.


WCW Question:
How important is the GMAT/TOEFL scores?
Is there a minimum needed before a candidate should consider applying?

Does it matter how many times a candidate sit these exams?


CBS Answer:
We do not use minimum GMAT score. And we will look at the highest score if the candidates have taken the test a number of times.

What is the male/ female ratio?


CBS Answer:
In the Class of 2005, we have 30% women.

How many years of professional experience does the school prefer applicants to have?


CBS Answer:
We prefer at least two years of work experience before entering our MBA.

CBS Answer:
Copenhagen Business School has around 14,000 students and an annual intake of around 1,000 exchange students. With this number of students as well as around 400 full-time researchers and around 500 administrative employees, CBS is the one of the 3 largest business school in Northern Europe.


CBS actively engages in the corporate world. Corporate partners also work with CBS researchers on new, cutting-edge research projects.

The full-time MBA is an intensive one-year MBA Program. The program is unique in its focus on knowledge and innovation. There is a strong focus on leadership development with CEOs and senior executives as mentors for the MBA participants.

CBS Answer:
We use rolling admissions procedure. The MBA starts in September every year. For EU and Nordic nationals, the deadline is 15 June and other nationalities, 1 May.
