Photographer Sanja BeslinTop Stock Photo Library; Reflex Stock®, is providing the brightest and best young designers the chance to profile their work on their industry renowned design blog in the hope of highlighting the design talent of the future.

The project is aimed at design students and graduates and is a fantastic opportunity for young emerging talent to showcase their creative designs, images and photography on a high profile creative website and blog. The website at Reflex Stock® is popular with creative directors, art buyers, and graphic designers who scroll the pages looking for artistic inspiration, and stock images for their creative projects.

With the current economic climate negatively affecting 1 in 3 graduates it has never been harder to get noticed, Reflex Stock® are setting aside areas on their online image library to display young creative designers and give untapped talent a week in the spotlight.

Students will benefit from the exposure, comments and potential work they might receive from posting their illustrations and designs. The creative team at Reflex Stock® will choose a candidate each week to profile and applications have already been flooding in from young hopeful creatives. Dwyer O’Neill, Chief Executive Officer at Reflex Stock®, has commented, “The response we have obtained from the initiative has been overwhelming, the level of talent out there is phenomenal and as a creative corporation I feel it is our duty to use our resources to help the next generation get their foot on the career ladder.”

The project adapts to the needs of those taking part, whether its graduates wishing to add to their CV, get their work noticed or just share their creative talent with the World, the website and blog at Reflex Stock® offers a wealth of opportunity. Not only will Reflex Stock® showcase the young designers’ work they will also utilize their massive social media presence to promote the designers for that given week.

Communications manager at Reflex Stock, Sarah-Anne Hughes, explained “The end result of this project is to give young designers an opportunity to show the design world what they are missing by forgoing graduate recruitment. We are not making the submissions criteria too stringent as you can’t put boundaries on creativity, however we are asking graduates to think outside the box and submit work that will really get them noticed.”

Prior to submission Graduates are asked a few key profile questions so as to get a feel for what motivates them and what their career aspirations are. From there the Creative Team at Reflex Stock® will decide who to profile each week and create an animated video with music illustrating the designer’s work and post it on the homepage. The designer will also have a complete write up and posting of their work on the blog where constructive comments can be posted. This is an opportunity of a life-time in a suppressed market, graduates from North America, UK, Australia and Japan have already contacted the company with the anticipation that this free marketing will help boost their career prospects and open doors to a fantastic career.

Corporate responsibility projects like this illustrate how firms can give back to the industry by investing in the people that will build its’ future.

Reflex Stock is a leading independent Stock Photography company that steers away from the norm and embraces creativity, their new initiative strives to unleash and expose the talent of young designers by opening up a new World of opportunities that might not have previously existed for them. If you are a student or graduate designer passionate about your work we would like to hear from you.  http://www.reflexstock.com/
